A light for plants
A Real Full Spectrum
6-color light formula results in healthier and more balanced growth
Samsung's full spectrum horticulture formula uses 450nm royal blues, 5000k, 4000k and 3000k whites, 660 nm deep reds and 730 nm far reds to provide good photosynthetic transmittance for photosynthesis stimulation, disease prevention and boost bioactive compounds production.
Wide Light Reach Due to Premium Optics
High tech square 120º lens made by Khatod Italy
Exclusive 120º polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics with more than 92% transparency that avoids light filtering and maximizes its flux distribution. Also, it has an internal silicone o-ring that seals the enclosure protecting the light system against water, dust and humidity intrusion which prevents the generation of oxide on the printed circuit board (PCB).
Industrial farm lighting solutions
Specifically Engineered for Plants
Differentiated spectrum designed to stimulate photosynthesis and plant growth
Samsung’s horticulture LEDs utilize a unique plant-centric spectrum by pumping the most suitable wavelength for plant growth. They realize maximum photosynthesis that stimulate growth and phytonutrients while providing industry-leading PPE.
Low Power Consumption
Think about those 16 and 12 hours of daily lighting
Thanks to the high efficiency of Samsung chips combined with Khatod optics, we can produce extreme light output at reduced power consumption.

Horticulture lighting allows us to cultivate plants indoors at any time in any climate. Proper spectrum engineering of these lights enables faster growth, more harvests, and better quality of plants. Compared to conventional HPS (high pressure sodium) and MH (metal halide) lights, LED-based lights are more efficient and cost effective for horticulture applications thanks to LED’s much lower power consumption, longer lifetime, and the availability of spectrum engineering.
Samsung has introduced white and red LEDs for its horticulture lighting series which are best suited for plant cultivation. Conventionally, blue and red lights were mostly used for horticulture lighting since it is known that plants better absorb blue and red lights. Other wavelengths such as green have been received little attention. However, Samsung insists different perspectives that various wavelengths are actually important for entire plant growth. This has been supported by numerous internal and external experimental studies. Following its extensive research into the matter, Samsung has determined that a broad white spectrum with selected red spectrum yields better results and allows lower overall costs, in general. Samsung’s broad spectrum of white LED including blue, green, yellow and specific wavelengths of red LED (660nm and 730nm) can provide optimal lighting to make plants grow better.
Samsung’s new horticulture line-up features industry-leading high efficacy “white LED” and supplemental “red LEDs” with special red wavelengths such as “660nm deep-red LED” and “730nm far-red LED,” which cover the spectrum that cannot be thoroughly covered with white LED lighting, but is important to plant growth.
Overall Samsung’s horticulture LED solutions have been carefully designed to provide excellent cutting-edge performance (PPF, PPF/W) with outstanding resistance to heat, humidity, and chemicals. They are highly resistant to the harsh horticulture environment, especially high temperatures and humidity, as well as exposure to chemicals such as the sulfur in fertilizer. Samsung’s horticulture LED solutions thrive in any of these conditions. The Samsung solutions offer proven levels of performance and reliability to the market.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why do other brands use more energy to cover the same area?We use the most advanced LEDs in the world in terms of energy efficiency and we complement them with optics that allow us to take advantage of 99% of their emission, with which we achieve an amazing light emission at reduced consumption.
-
What is the difference between the Samsung LM-301 LEDs used in the quantum boards compared to the Samsung LH-351 LEDs used in the Insativa boards?LM LED line is Samsung´s medium power line while LH line is hight power line.
-
What role do optics play? The optics (or lenses) are in charge of directing the light to where we need it, minimizing the waste of light (or residual light) that occurs with the 180º emission.
-
How long will the light last? The useful life of the luminaire is determined by the controller since it is the most demanding component in daily operation due to voltage fluctuations typical of the electrical network, the changes in temperature and humidity of the environment, etc.
-
What guarantee do you have? All our luminaires have a 2-year guarantee on presentation of the purchase invoice or the guarantee certificate included in the box.
-
Do you do repairs? In the event that something happens to the luminaire after the warranty period, Insativa provides a lifetime after-sales service that allows you to repair the damaged component paying only for the replacement.
